I am in no way supporting AI, don’t use it, or at least try to avoid it which has become almost impossible. The tech world is AI forcing everything.
That being said, I do not agree with some of the statements in this video. He keeps saying AI is basing the song of other’s work. Well the entirety of modern civilization is based on others works. For good or bad. Raise a human in isolation and ask them to write a song, a play, anything. It would be quite unrecognizable to the rest of us. But it would be unique!
AI can not do anything but make humanity lazy. As all tools do. But, in my opinion, we are already lazy enough.
Many will say we need tools to move at an even faster pace. Well I would say that that we are moving way too fast. Ecological, and other, disasters are inevitable because of the speed we are moving. Nothing else can keep up, change and adapt to the current pace we are moving at.
Slow down and breath. Meditate.
In any case, down with AI !
