Description: This script randomly surfs the web. The web can be so overwhelming that I thought it would be nice to randomly explore the web when you are doing a little recreational surfing. You supply a web site to start at, choose how many links to jump through then let the program find a random site. This is our script. I had initially intended it to be all in Javascript, but Javascript limitations made it impossible. So it is a Perl script.

Installation : Average. You must have Lynx (a UNIX web browser) available on your server for this to work.

Stability : Very if the web is stable.

Strengths:

• Versatile

Weaknesses :

• Can be quirky when encountering framed web pages.
• A little slow on occasions. Hard to tell if it has stalled.
